    The are a few arduino Oscilloscope projects but they only have a sample rate of 10k. I found this article  by Glen Sweeny using the ADC interrupts by using 8 bits  and a higher adc clock I should be able to run at higher speeds. Collecting a set of results and then sending them out serially would improve the speed. FirstlyI copied the program and got a compiler error.  I removed sections of code and it turned out the compiler din’t like the global variables in the interrupt service routine.

    I have decided to try to build a smartphone TV remote control. The idea is to transmit codes from my phone to a blue-tooth module HC06 attached to an adruino the use a ir diode to signal the TV. Actually I am going to replace part of my Foxtel remote as the buttons are getting hard to press. First I need the ir codes. A quick google search found this  .     This is just a starter for Arduinos. Feel free to comment and I will add to this.

    the starting point with Arduino is to install the software. Go to https://www.arduino.cc/en/Main/Software.    Remember to set the correct com port and the board type.

    The IDE has a series of sample projects to get started. The best way to start is to try out the example blink program. It flashes the onboard LED on pin 13. Once you have it going try changing the delay to make the LED flash at different rates. Windows 7 upwards should automatically download the driver, just give it a few minutes. If this don’t work you can download the drivers from http://www.microcontrols.org/arduino-uno-clone-ch340-ch341-chipset-usb-drivers/

    The is my remote presence robot. It is controlled by a raspberry pi running python and an Arduino running the hardware. 18watt motors run the wheels via toothed belt. The base was laser-cut and folded by the laser cut company. The camera is servo  controlled from the web interface with up and down buttons.
